This thesis examines the contribution of the
Hypotension Prédiction Index (HPI), an algorithm based on machine learning that can
forecast a drop in blood pressure several minutes before it occurs. A literature review
and a mixed-method study (survey of operating room staff and interviews with
anesthesiologists) identified major barriers to its adoption: the multiplication of
screens, lack of shared protocols, and insufficient ongoing training. While 76% of
respondents acknowledged the value of anticipating hypotensive episodes, many
described the HemoSphere console as bulky, redundant with the main monitor, and
unintuitive. Two improvements are proposed: integrating the HPI module directly into
the main monitor to reduce visual overload, and implementing "passive HPI Days"
during which the algorithm runs silently in the background, followed by case reviews to
build clinical confidence. A three-year retraining of the algorithm on local datasets is
also recommended to preserve prédictive accuracy. By simplifying the interface,
reinforcing targeted training, and tailoring data use to local conditions, this strategy
aims to reduce total hypotension duration, optimize vasopressor management, and
ultimately improve postoperative outcomes without increasing the workload of
operating room teams.</dc:description>
