Elles ont toutes un point commun : l’autonomisation du patient. À travers une étude de terrain mené dans le monde de l’ophtalmologie, auprès d’ophtalmologistes, d’orthoptistes, d’assistantes médicales mais aussi auprès des industries de dispositifs médicaux innovants en ophtalmologie, nous allons comprendre les enjeux du patient au cœur de sa santé pour les professionnels de santé, pour les industries de dispositifs médicaux mais également les enjeux de l’État à proposer un cadre réglementaire autour du patient 3.0 et des data de santé qu’il génère. Nous allons également constater que l’acceptation de dispositifs innovants n’est pas toujours facile à intégrer dans le parcours de soins puisqu’ils nécessitent une réorganisation des habitudes de travail et un accompagnement pointilleux pour une acceptation optimale. Empowerment, expert patients, self-medication, self-diagnosis, quantified self, all these concepts are not new but are gaining momentum in recent years. They all have one thing in common: patient empowerment. Through a field study conducted in the world of ophthalmology, with ophthalmologists, orthoptists, medical assistants but also with industries of innovative medical devices in ophthalmology, we will understand the challenges of the patient at the heart of his health for health professionals, for the medical device industries but also the challenges of the State to propose a regulatory framework around the patient 3.0 and health data it generates. We will also note that the acceptance of innovative devices is not always easy to integrate in the care pathway since they require a reorganization of work habits and a careful support for an optimal acceptance.
