<dc:description xml:lang="en" xsi:type="lille:Resume-en">Introduction : Focus is one of the key factors that underpins elite performance. Most notably in football, where athletes need to be able to expand or narrow the focus of their attention quickly and appropriately in response to specific match situations (Pain, 2016).
The objective of this study is to understand the effects of a standardized meditation protocol on attentional flexibility and anxiety in female soccer players.
Material and method : A test battery was carried out on high-level women's football players including a field test, a computer test and two questionnaires. The sample was divided into 2 groups, on the one hand the experimental group (GE) and on the other hand the control group (GT).
Results : 16 players performed the test battery. Significant differences were shown for attentional flexibility in the EG, omitted for the broad-internal style. A decrease in summer anxiety was revealed without, however, being significant.
Discussion : It would seem that this standardized protocol has an influence on almost all the variables tested. It would be interesting to evaluate a physiological variable in future work.
Conclusion : Football is a sport that requires making decisions quickly in a constantly changing environment. By using this protocol, it is possible to improve the channels of the different senses that are manipulated during a football performance.</dc:description>
