Ce trouble est un trouble fonctionnel. Il est caractérisé par l’utilisation semi-exclusive ou exclusive du mécanisme léger en l’absence d’anomalies hormonales et laryngées, alors que les structures organiques nécessitent l’utilisation du mécanisme de poitrine. On retrouve une alternance des deux mécanismes au-delà de la durée normale d’installation, à la fin de la puberté, ou une absence de mue. Les causes sont mécaniques, par difficultés d’ajustement au développement trop rapide des structures, ou psychiques, par les difficultés qu’impliquent la puberté et la mue dans le passage au monde adulte. Les consultations préliminaires auront comme objectif d’écarter des facteurs hormonaux ou organiques et le bilan vocal objectivera le trouble. La thérapie vocale est le traitement de première intention et permettra au sujet de s’ajuster à sa voix d’adulte. En cas d’échec de cette thérapie, le patient sera orienté vers un accompagnement psychologique ou une intervention chirurgicale. This dissertation seeks to define and develop the care of distorted molt. This disorder is a functional disorder. It is characterized by the semi-exclusive or exclusive use of the high-pitched voice in the absence of hormonal and laryngeal abnormalities, whereas the organic structures privilege the use of the lower-pitched voice. We find an alternation of the two mechanisms beyond the normal duration of installation, at the end of puberty, or an absence of moult. The causes are mechanical, due to difficulties in adjusting to the rapid development of the structures, or psychological, due to the difficulties involved in puberty and moulting in the passage to adulthood. The preliminary consultations will aim to rule out hormonal or organic factors and the vocal assessment will objectify the disorder. Voice therapy is the first line of treatment and will allow the patient to adjust to his or their adult voice. If this therapy fails, the patient will be referred to psychological support or surgical operation.
