Résumé

Le bloc opératoire est un secteur complexe, à risque pour la sécurité du patient, qui implique de nombreux intervenants. Des études ont mis en évidence l’importance du rôle de la communication entre les professionnels dans l’apparition des évènements indésirables graves. Le secteur de l’aviation, a fait le même constat concernant l’importance du facteur humain dans la survenue d’accidents. Ainsi, la mise en place du Crew Ressource Management a fortement contribué à classer le secteur de l’aviation parmi les organisations les plus sûres. Consciente de l’efficacité de cette méthode dans l’amélioration du travail d’équipe, la Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) s’est inspirée de ce modèle en mettant en œuvre le programme d’amélioration continue du travail d’équipe (PACTE). En partant de ce programme et sachant que le CRM n’est efficace que si l’intégralité de la démarche est transposée, nous avons envisagé la transposition du CRM au sein du bloc opératoire au plus proche du CRM issu de l’aviation. De cette manière, nous avons pu percevoir ce que le domaine de la santé gagnerait à mettre en place l’exhaustivité de cette démarche au sein du bloc opératoire.

The operating theater is a complex area, at risk for the safety of the patient, which involves many stakeholders. Studies have highlighted the importance of the role of communication between professionals in the occurrence of serious adverse events. The aviation sector has made the same observation regarding the importance of the human factor in the occurrence of accidents. Thus, the establishment of Crew Resource Management has strongly contributed to classify the aviation sector as one of the safest organizations. Aware of the effectiveness of this method in improving teamwork, the High Authority for Health (HAS) was inspired by this model by implementing the program for continuous improvement of teamwork. Starting from this program and knowing that the CRM is effective only if the entire approach is transposed, we have considered the transposition of the CRM in the operating room closer to the CRM from aviation. In this way, we were able to perceive what the field of health would gain from putting in place the completeness of this approach within the operating room.
