Abstract : Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium first identified in 1982, considered to be a major pathogen of chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastric cancer and MALT. Due to the rapid emergence of antibiotic resistance and poor adherence to treatment, eradication rates are unsatisfactory. There is therefore an urgent need to research optimized eradication schemes for H. pylori. In this context, probiotics are receiving more and more attention as an adjunct to eradication therapy and significantly contribute to improving the effectiveness of treatment and reducing side effects.
