J.-C. ; roi de Macédoine) Roman d'Alexandre Philologie romane Manuscrits -- Édition critique La thèse « Etude et commentaire des manuscrits du Roman d'Alexandre de Alexandre de Paris et édition du 'Roman d'Alexandre décasyllabique' » explore la tradition du Roman d'Alexandre d'Alexandre de Paris, le plus important texte français médiéval en vers dédié à Alexandre le Grand, à travers des approfondissements codicologiques, ecdotiques et l'édition critique d'une version particulière de cette œuvre. L'étude est structurée selon une perspective qui est double et complémentaire. Dans le premier volume, je propose un approfondissement systématique des manuscrits qui transmettent le texte : je produis ainsi un dossier de fiches dédiées à chaque témoin, y compris deux fragments qui, jusqu'ici ignorés par la critique, ont été publiés à la fin du travail. Certaines particularités notées pendant cette enquête - comme les programmes iconographiques de certains manuscrits et la provenance géographique de quelques témoins - sont étudiées plus organiquement dans des chapitres d'approfondissement. La deuxième partie du travail est consacrée aux textes que ces manuscrits contiennent. La genèse du Roman d'Alexandre est en effet longue et compliquée : certains témoins nous permettent de lire aussi des passages d'œuvres plus anciennes, dont Alexandre de Paris semble s'être inspiré, directement ou indirectement. Il a semblé opportun de garder une perspective généalogique, pour mieux analyser les complexités de cette évolution. Le point de départ est l'Alexandre octosyllabique, un fragment bien connu et important pour son antiquité, qui constitue l'origine de la tradition française en vers sur Alexandre le Grand. On approfondit ensuite l'Alexandre décasyllabique : de ce texte, à tort négligé, j'offre une nouvelle édiction critique, accompagnée d'une inédite traduction italienne. Une attention particulière est accordée aux trois témoins de cette œuvre, qui se révèlent particulièrement délicats du point de vue ecdotique et qui méritent d'être étudiés avec soin Je passe ensuite à l'analyse du Roman d'Alexandre d'Alexandre de Paris, à travers trois études de cas particulièrement exemplaires. L'étude se conclut enfin avec un petit dossier de ces œuvres qui, plus tard, sont nées sous l'influence du texte d'Alexandre de Paris, comme les œuvres qui component le Cycle du Paon. Deux appendices complètent le travail : l'édition, déjà rappelée, des deux fragments inédits et la publication des nombreuses notes apposées par le copiste d'un des témoins F (Parma, Bibl. Palatine, Parm. 1206) dans les marges de son travail. The thesis «Etude et commentaire des manuscrits du Roman d'Alexandre de Alexandre de Paris et édition du 'Roman d'Alexandre décasyllabique' » explores the tradition of the Roman d'Alexandre d'Alexandre de Paris, the most important medieval text in french verse dedicated to Alexander the Great, through codicological and ecdotic perspectives and the critical edition of a particular version of this work. The study is structured in a dual and complementary perspective. In the first volume, I propose a systematic research on the manuscripts that transmit the text: thus a dossier of documents dedicated to each witness is produced, including two fragments which, until now ignored by the critics, are published critically as an appendix to this work. Some detailsc noted during this survey - such as the iconographic programs of certain manuscripts and the geographical provenance of some witnesses - are studied more organically in separate chapters. The second part of the work is dedicated to the texts contained in these manuscripts. The genesis of the Roman d'Alexandre is indeed long and complicated: in some witnesses we can read passages from older works, which Alexandre de Paris seems to have been inspired by - directly or indirectly. It seemed appropriate to keep a genealogical perspective, to better analyze the complexities of this evolution. The starting point is the Alexandre octosyllabique, a well-known and important fragment for its antiquity, which constitutes the origin of the French tradition in verses on Alexander the Great. I then study the Alexandre décasyllabique, offering a new critical edition of the text, accompanied by an original Italian translation. Special attention is given to the three witnesses of this work, which are particularly delicate from an ecdoctic point of view and deserve to be studied carefully I then pass to the analysis of the Roman d'Alexandre d'Alexandre de Paris, through three exemplary case studies. The study concludes with a small dossier of these works that, later, were born under the influence of Alexandre de Paris' roman, as the works that make up the Peacock Cycle. Two appendices complete the work: the already mentioned edition of the two unpublished fragments and the publication of the numerous notes in the margins of one of the witnesses, F (Parma, Bibl. Palatine, Parm. 1206) in the margins of his work.
