À partir d'une enquête par entretiens et observation participante, auprès d'un réseau d'associations mixtes de professionnel-les du spectacle vivant engagé-es pour l'égalité femmes-hommes, elle examine les trajectoires des militant-es ainsi que le travail militant des associations, sous le prisme du rapport au travail et de la construction de l'identité professionnelle. L'analyse montre comment, dans le cadre hiérarchisé du théâtre public français, la perception de la division sexuelle du travail et du capital artistiques construisent chez les femmes une identité professionnelle fragile et illégitime. Elle examine les conditions de possibilité de la transformation du sentiment d'injustice en moteur de mobilisation : en observant le rapport subjectif au travail, et aux possibilités d'accès au capital artistique, elle montre que la conscience de classe de sexe alimente tout autant qu'elle contraint la mobilisation, individuellement comme collectivement. The thesis focuses on the devalued relationship of women to work, through the study of a mobilization for gender equality in the field of performing arts. Based on interviews and participative observation of a network of mixed associations composed of performing arts professionals committed to the cause of gender equality, it examines the paths of activists and the militant work of the associations through the prism of their relationship to work and the construction of their professional identity. The analysis shows how, within the hierarchical framework of the French public theater, the perception of the sexual division of labor and artistic capital construct a fragile and illegitimate professional identity for women. It examines the conditions of possibility of the transformation of the feeling of injustice into a driver of mobilization: by observing the subjective relationship to work, and to the possibilities of access to artistic capital, it shows that the consciousness of gender class fuels as much as it constrains mobilization, individually as collectively.
