« La recherche analyse le "Patrimoine Mondial de l’Humanité" dans son rapport au texte. Par-delà une liste de biens nationaux reconnus et valorisés par l’Organisation des Nations-Unies pour la Science, l’Éducation et la Culture, la thèse interroge ainsi le dispositif et le processus d'une écriture, tout à la fois patrimoniale et organisationnelle.Dans la tension entre production documentaire et communication constitutive d’un patrimoine enacté par un réseau d’acteurs, la recherche défend la thèse d’une patrimonialisation procédant toujours d’une ré-écriture.Du patrimoine comme texte « toujours-déjà-là » à l’écriture du patrimoine comme construction publicitaire, notre questionnement porte centralement sur le dispositif UNESCO et la fabrique des candidatures au "Patrimoine Mondial de l’Humanité". La patrimonialisation est donc saisie au prisme d’une écriture dont nous analysons les modalités et discutons la performativité. En considérant le patrimoine dans sa mise-en-texte, nous tentons d’éclairer les actants de cette écriture, comme aussi les contrats de communication et stratégies à l’œuvre dans la ré-écriture, normée et normative, d'un patrimoine en vue — et au motif — de sa labellisation internationale ».

The research analyses the World Heritage of Humanity in its relation to the text. Beyond the list of recognized and valued national properties by the United Nations Organization for Science, Education and Culture, the thesis questions the mechanism and the process of a writing, both patrimonial and organizational.In the tension between documentary production and constitutive communication of a patrimony created by a network of actors, the research defends the thesis of a heritage always proceeding from a re-writing.From heritage as a text «always-already-there» to the writing of heritage as advertising construction, our questioning focuses on the UNESCO system and the making of nominations for the "World Heritage of Humanity". The patrimonialization is thus seized by the prism of a writing whose modalities we analyze and discuss the performativity. By considering heritage in its implementation, we try to enlighten the actors of this writing, as well as the communications contracts and strategies at work in the re-writing, normalized and normative, a heritage in view of, and on the basis of, its international labelling”.
